Google deletes Android app via remote access

Until now it has been more of a hypothetical possibility, but now Google has made use of it for the first time and has remotely deleted an application on users' mobile phones. Even if users with a penchant for paranoia are now up in arms, the deletion was justified: the application is a research application designed to check for the possible spread of malware.

The software has long since disappeared from the Android market, and now, thanks to Google, it has also disappeared from users' mobile phones. But a bland aftertaste remains, since deleting it from a distance is no longer a hypothetical possibility, but quite real - it is to be hoped that Google will handle this power wisely and not delete any applications that the providers dislike, for example, but are useful to the customers.
