With the I9000 Galaxy S, Samsung moves in the range of the Nexus One: 1 GHz CPU, 4″ Super AMOLED display, 16 or 32 GB storage, Android 2.1 with its own interface. The whole thing packed in a 9.9 millimeter thick case. Samsung apparently wants to show that they are capable of building a real high-end device as well, because nothing else will become the Galaxy S.
Unfortunately, nothing is known about availability yet; it will probably not be until summer. Samsung is also still silent about the price, but a device with this configuration will not be available for less than $500.
