HTC has started to distribute an update for the HTC One, which among other things significantly improves the quality of the camera. AndroidPit has created corresponding comparison pictures, on which a clear advantage for the new software can be seen: the colors look fresher, the sharpness is better. One asks oneself: why not like that, as something like this should be noticed in the quality assurance of the software department. Apart from the improvements of the camera, the update includes minor improvements in stability and beatsaudio.
Availability of the HTC One still poor
Unfortunately, the availability of the HTC One is still poor: although the prices at Geizhals.at have slowly decreased (lowest price: 588,- Euro instead of 599,- Euro, as of 24.04.2013), but no shop has the HTC One really available. Network operators have the device in part, but free versions are preferable in terms of quick updates, as they don't have to go through an additional release process. When the fundamental change will take place is unfortunately still open - HTC could certainly sell more units of the One if it were widely available.
