Using a special boot loader, a resourceful programmer has managed to make Google's Android operating system run on the original Iphone 2G. The most important functions are even usable, you can make phone calls, send and receive SMS and generally operate the display. Due to the lack of buttons, the volume buttons had to be replaced.
Android really seems to run on any hardware somehow - even if it is of course not usable in a useful way, it is fascinating that it is possible at all. Especially since the Iphone is not known for being an open and easy to use platform.
