Motorola Moto G - Diary part 2

After a few more days with the Moto G I can say: the first impression has continued. Apart from the camera, the Motorola smartphone is a good choice. Now I'm thinking about switching to a high-end android like the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact. The only point of criticism: the camera.

Well, that Moto G has only a 5 megapixel camera (with autofocus), but a little less noise should be possible. Even in sunlight (like on the example photo) fine details (like the leaves on the tree) are not reproduced cleanly. The Moto G can only record videos with 720p anyway, so don't expect miracles here either.

As of today, I have a ultraclear atFolix display protection film from the German supplier for a little under seven euros, but I have no experience yet how well these slides last. The application was problem-free, of course the display should be cleaned thoroughly before.

I can now also make some initial statements about the battery: I can get by out of range for a little more than a day and a half - with similar use, my iPhone 5 was flat after just one working day. At the next opportunity I will try navigation, I already have Sygic installed - so far I have used Navigon.

Whoever wants to buy the Moto G with 8 GB or 16 GB can do so at Amazon (prices from 11.03.2014):
