The long announced "Flash Player 10.1 for Mobile" is now officially finished and is ready for manufacturers - for end users this means that they have to be patient a bit longer, because the player is not freely available. Besides Android, Flash Player for Mobile is also available for WebOS (HP/Palm) and Blackberrys. Versions for Symbian and Windows Mobile will follow.
Apple still refuses to release Flash, so there is no version planned here either. Whether this will remain the case when the first devices with Flash actually arrive at the customers (or when the player is released for download) is still open. In any case, the Android smartphones now have another advantage over Apple's iOS.
