HP brings netbook with Android: Airlife 100

Android not only runs well on mobile phones, but also on netbooks. HP has now introduced a corresponding device: the Airlife 100. Driven by the Snapdragon processor, which already works in the Nexus, a runtime of 12 hours should be possible, with up to 10 days standby.

Included are Wlan, UMTS and GPS - the system runs on a 16 GB SSD, the memory can be expanded via SD cards. The display measures 10.1 inches and complies with netbook standards.

Further details will probably be revealed at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
