iPad 3 and Apple TV - the latest rumours

There is currently an active rumour mill about Apple again. The latest dishes: the iPad 3 is scheduled to be introduced on 7 March 2012 and then go straight into stores about a week later. In addition to a retina display (2,048×1,536 pixel resolution), there will also be an LTE version, which will benefit from corresponding mobile networks. Rather unlikely is the rumor that the new iPad (3 or 2S) will be a little thicker than the iPad 2 - Apple will not allow a step backwards on such an important point.

Other rumours concern Apple TV - and that doesn't mean a small box that connects to the TV, but a complete TV. For quite some time now, the assumption has been held that Apple is working on a corresponding device (which of course would be able to run Apps and integrate itself into Apple's existing infrastructure). Now Tim Cook fueled the rumors with a statement about the successor to Apple TV.
