Android Market with over 10,000 apps

As the page AndroLib has determined, the Android Market meanwhile contains more than 10.000 applications, of which two thirds are free. Google itself does not publish any data on the number of applications (nor does it keep the store searchable on the PC), so the figures have only been estimated so far.

But Apple with more than 60,000 apps is still a long way off - but with the increasing spread of Android apps, hopefully programmers will also become aware of this platform. It's time for an Android mobile phone that can compete with the Iphone...
