The Samsung Galaxy S is probably undisputedly one of the best equipped Android devices. Although still equipped with Android 2.1 (an update is announced for the end of the year), it plays in the high-end league with 4″ Super AMOLED touchscreen, 1 GHz processor and 512 megabytes of RAM. The Hands-On-Test of the Samsung Galaxy S at PCGameshardware.de reveals some weaknesses: the haptic looks a bit "plastic", and a photo light is missing, which even Apple has realized in the Iphone 4.
After all, Samsung has already firmly announced an update to Android 2.2 - this is a good sign.
