The same resourceful programmer who already got Android running on the Iphone 2G has now managed to do the same on the newer 3G model (not 3GS). A video shows that after selecting Android in the post-installed boot manager, the Google operating system starts. Drivers are available for almost everything except sound. You can call someone, but you can not hear him or can not be heard yourself.
Still an impressive work. Currently there is nothing to download and try out for yourself, but the programmer has announced to make Android available for the Iphone 3G as soon as it runs a bit better. The video is available at Youtube: Android running on Iphone 3G
